Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Community health clinic or centre


Area of Specialization: General duty, Clinic, Community, Drug addiction, Geriatrics, Mental health, Public and community health


Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, Develop and implement health education programs, Deliver health education programs, Provide health education, Provide nursing care, Provide supportive counselling and life skills programming, Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice, Participate in community needs assessment and program development, Conduct disease screening, Deliver immunization programs


Additional Skills: General counselling, Drug and alcohol rehabilitation, Infection control
