Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Office of health care professional


Chiropractic Office Assistant Specific Skills: Assist chiropractor with patient health education, Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation, Order supplies and equipment, Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments


Additional Skills: Maintain records and inventories of supplies, Clean and maintain equipment, Order supplies and equipment, Schedule appointments, Collect statistics, Perform general clerical duties


Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Confidential security clearance


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
