Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work


Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Community health clinic or centre


Area of Specialization: General duty, Community, Geriatrics, Home care, Mental health, Public and community health


Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, Develop and implement health education programs, Deliver health education programs, Provide health education, Provide nursing care, Plan, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate health education services, Manage home care cases, Participate in community needs assessment and program development
